Abstract: 44 scientists participated in the International Scientific Conference dedicated to Prof. Ivaylo Dichev, on the topic: Pop-culture, Pop-politics: The Digital Turn. Interdisciplinary Analyses Of The Intersectionality Between Media, Cultures And Politics. The conference concludes the research project „Pop-culture, pop-politics: The digital turn. Interdisciplinary analyses of the intersection between media, cultures and politics“ of Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“. The conference was implemented with the help of the Cultural Studies Network, the journal „Seminar_BG“, the Department of „Radio and Television“ of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, and the Department of „History and Theory of Culture“ at the Faculty of Philosophy, together with scientists from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Ния Нейкова е доктор по културна антропология към Университет „Жан Моне“, Сент-Етиен, Франция и Софийски университет „Св. Климент Охридски“. Тя е главен асистент в Института по философия и социология, Българска академия на науките и преподава в катедра „История и теория на културата“, Софийски университет „Св. Климент Охридски“. Основните ѝ изследователски интереси са в областта на социално въображаемо, медии и комуникации, младежки култури, популярна култура.

Niya Neykova holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology at “Jean Monnet” University, Saint-Etienne, France, and Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and teaches at the Department of “History and Theory of Culture”, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Her main research interests are in the field of social imaginary, media and communications, youth cultures, and popular culture.
