\u0421\u0442\u0440\u043e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract: <\/strong>The article addresses a topic related to the complex problem of\nauthorship in the field of popular music today, as well as the challenges of\ntrying to highlight the \u2018image\u2019 of the author in the context of the joint and\nshared creative efforts involved in creating \u0430 final music product. The text\nanalyses these issues through the interpretive optics of Professor Will Straw,\na contemporary Canadian researcher in the field of media studies. His research interests focus on issues in the\nfield of popular music. In 2012 he defended a dissertation related to Bulgarian\nrock and has subsequently worked on topics related to the history of old urban\nsongs in Bulgaria.
